This was American Express’s 11th location. The lounge opens at 7 am and closes at 7 pm currently. The sign pictured below indicates the elevator that will take guests up to the lounge. Located near a new food court between terminals D & E, the signage is limited but with some effort, it can be found. The Centurion Lounge’s location was a bit difficult for me to find, despite frequenting Charlotte on a regular basis. This rule is malleable in the case of irregular operations and delays. I also was required to present a boarding pass within three hours of my arrival at the lounge.

American Express Platinum and Centurion card members are the only guests that can access Centurion lounges. I used my Business Platinum Card from American Express to enter the lounge. Some lounges are offered with a membership to Priority Pass, Charlotte has two, which can be confusing since American Express eligible cards also include a Priority Pass membership. Many large international airports host lounges both specific to airlines and available to the general public for a fee or membership.
